Amy Kress has been making music since she was 8 years old. But it wasn’t until she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011 that she decided to share it with the world with her aptly named debut album Secret Music. Since then, she’s continued to make music, and after finishing a round of chemotherapy in May, Kress is hitting the road, heading to Dicken’s Opera House on June 27. With a sound that pulls together influences ranging from pop rock to electronic, Kress delivers her personal lyrics and piano driven music with soulful emotion and energy fit for a stunning live performance.
