CBS has given a late-season pilot order to a comedy project starring Martin Lawrence.
$#*! My Dad Says duo Mike Lisbe and Nate Reger will write and executive produce the untitled Lawrence project, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Lawrence will star in the multicamera pilot about a widowed father of
two teens who, after losing his construction job, opts to enroll at the
police academy in an effort to become a cop at the ripe old age of 46.
