The Teen Intensive Program gives musically-minded teenagers an opportunity to learn about all the elements of creating a full length production of the classic musical Spamalot. Taking place over 4 weeks, this fast-paced process gives young artists a chance to work with theatre professionals and culminates with performances on the Arvada Center stage. Auditions will be used to determine casting and all students, beginner and experienced alike, will be given equal opportunities for participation. We meet each student at their ability level to help them grow with self-confidence, creativity & friendship. Camp Themes: Scenes and Songs from Mary Poppins, Little Mermaid, Jungle Book, Lyle Lyle Crocodile, Harry Potter, Encanto, SpongeBob, Mario Party, West Side Story, Sing and Hamilton. In the jungle at the hour of midnight that’s when the animals come out to play! Join us on an animal safari though songs and science, exploring the African plains, the Amazon and Rainforests. Camp OKC is an early childhood music camp that blends a variety of musical experiences with art, instrument construction, science, dramatic play, a xylophone orchestra and a final performance into one amazing week. Creative hands-on activities are designed to engage the whole child in an unforgettable camp experience. Camp is June 5-9, Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. An optional lunch bunch is offered Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. It is a well organized camp for kids ages 4-8+. Camp fills quickly; registration is nonrefundable, but tuition is refundable until April 1.

Centennial State Ballet presents daily and weekly summer dance camps and classes for ages 3 to adult. Find something that moves you with offerings of aerial, ballet, bollywood, Chinese dance, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, tap, variations, pre-pointe and pointe classes! K-3rd grade meets Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m.-noon. 4th through 6th grade meets Monday through Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. 7th-12th grade meets Monday through Thursday from 10-4 p.m. Combination ballet and tap classes will be offered for 3-5 year olds. Young Professional DJ workshop is designed to provide youth a positive outlet of expression through the art of DJing. Each day we will focus on a specific aspect of DJing, from getting familiar with the equipment, to mixing songs, sampling sounds, scratching records, crowd control, and more. Our hands-on workshops include guest presentations from active professional DJs and our workshops always conclude with a rooftop showcase in which youth participants will have the opportunity to curate their own event, play their own original sets, and perform for a live audience. Jazz from A to Z, a 5-day residential camp for ages 13-18, offers a deep dive into the performance, theory, and history of jazz. We welcome students of all levels, from beginners to experienced improvisers. Through individual instruction from our expert faculty, students explore improvisation within the jazz idiom and examine the solos of jazz legends. Performances in combos and small ensembles improve listening skills, teamwork, and musicality; performance in large ensembles tackle big band tunes by greats such as Count Basie and Thad Jones. Students have the option to study the theoretical side of jazz through big-band arranging and composition classes. July 25 to July 30.

This residential summer camp is for beginners and intermediate musicians (ages 10-15) playing violin, viola, cello, or guitar, and will prepare players for success in middle and high school programs with a solid, rudimentary foundation. In this two-week residential camp for advanced high school musicians (ages 13-18), students improve their musical skills and develop their unique voices through chamber ensembles, orchestra, performance classes, private lessons, audition preparation classes, workshops, musician wellness activities, and nature-based explorations. Additionally, students collaborate to compose and premiere an original multi-disciplinary group composition for their final concert. Students should be proficient at reading music and have prior experience playing in an ensemble. June 4 to July 16.
