‘Legion’: No critics allowed

0

Legion wasn’t screened for critics.

What is it? Fed up with humanity’s shenanigans, God
sends an army of angels to wipe the Earth clean. Our only hope is the
angel Michael (Paul Bettany), who makes his last stand at a diner with some humans, including a pregnant woman who may be carrying the Messiah.

Why didn’t Screen Gems show it to us? The studio did not respond to our request for comment.

Who else is in it? Adrianne Palicki of “Friday Night Lights” the TV series and Lucas Black of “Friday Night Lights” the movie.

Why we’d see it: Director Scott Stewart was a founding member of defunct special-effects company the Orphanage,
which worked on “Sin City,” “Grindhouse,” “Iron Man,”and many others.

Why we wouldn’t: Wall-crawling demon grandmas scare us.
