2024 Colorado Primary Election results for Boulder County

Junie Joseph, Judy Amabile fend of challengers

0

Incumbents Junie Joseph and Judy Amabile are set to win their primary battles for Colorado House District 10 and Senate District 18, respectively, the 2024 Colorado Primary Election. They are almost certain to win in the November elections, as both districts skew heavily Democrat.

In the closely watched race for District 2 seat on the state board of education, Kathy Gebhardt is leading over the Gov. Jared Polis-endorsed Marisol Rodriguez despite the $1 million-plus in special interest money spent in support of Rodriguez.

In the Republican primary, Kathy Reeves won the HD11 seat over opponent Terri Goon, and Mark Milliman advanced to the general election for HD12.

Elliot Hood was leading former national champion football player Charles “CJ” Johnson in the race for the CU Board of Regents. Current regent Lesley Smith ran away with the House District 49 seat despite living in the City of Boulder. Her opponent, Max Woodfin, is a mountain resident.

Voter turnout was about 25% as of 3 a.m. Wednesday, according to state election data. That number may change as more ballots are counted. Polls closed Tuesday, June 25 at 7 p.m. Find unofficial results at results.enr.clarityelections.com/CO/121727/web.317647/#/summary
