Espresso exceptionalism

I enjoyed the article by Ari Levaux. I’m all for spreading the word about good, coffee-flavored coffee. But he should know that if he wants to be a true coffee geek, I mean connoisseur, he needs to roast his own beans. You can get green beans from all over the world, roast them just the way you like them, make coffee that’s as fresh as you can get it, and save a lot of money compared to pre-roasted beans.
