Boulder-based
businesses Renewable Choice Energy and Green Garage have partnered to dole out
their own form of rolling stimulus. Renewable Choice is offering up a $100
matching fund to its employees who choose to participate in Green Garage’s
Valet Automotive Maintenance Service.
Green Garage,
Boulder’s newest entrepreneurial venture, is offering an extensive menu of money-saving,
incremental improvements to any car. These services will produce fewer
emissions, improve fuel economy, lead to better performance and longer
intervals between services. Founder Ryan Ferrero said, “Improving your MPG
leads to SPG — we call that smiles per gallon. And when you’re getting high
smileage, not only do the corners of your mouth go up, but you save money and
help the community and the planet.”
Since Renewable
Choice helps businesses and individuals understand and reduce their
environmental impact with renewable energy and other clean technology
solutions, it makes perfect sense the two organizations team up.
Additional
employee-focused environmental programs at Renewable Choice include providing
wind power for all employee homes, offsetting the carbon impact of all employee
