Art/Science Conversation

5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, NCAR Gallery, 1850 Table Mesa Drive, Boulder, 303-497-1000

Global warming can be a tiring issue. If you need a new perspective, try looking at it through the lens of Jungian theory. NCAR Gallery is hosting a talk with artist Jane McMahan and climate scientist and Jungian analyst Jeffrey Kiehl. They will discuss people’s disconnect with the natural world, leading us to ignore climate change, and the ability of art to make us more receptive. The talk will be in conjunction with Hard Rain Revelations, a photography exhibit by McMahan, in which she examines different water sources and the ambivalence of their future.
