The federal government is getting all the headlines lately, but there's plenty of action at the local level — where you're much more likely to have an impact. Local elected officials make decisions on housing, transportation, growth and development, climate change, open space: all things that have real, tangible impacts on your daily life. (Not to mention the spending decisions they're making with your hard-earned money.)

Whether you've got hyper-specific opinions about the latest street project or just want to give some high-level feedback, here's how to contact your city and county leaders to make your voice heard.
