Fabricate will offer small group classes throughout the summer for kids ages 8 and up. We’re asking parents to form a group of three to four students and choose a week that works for them. Our experienced instructors will guide campers through fun-filled, weeklong camps. Students will learn practical skills such as how to use and maintain a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, and how to read, cut and sew using commercial sewing patterns. We’ll sew garments, accessories and home decor. Students will build on fundamentals as they gain confidence and hone skills, and will be given instructions and patterns to take home. Mudslingers Pottery School Clay Camp
Our school exhibits the long and wonderful history of the potter’s craft, which traces the history of civilization itself. Mudslingers’ experienced teachers and member-staff offer hands-on assistance and inspiration for making functional, whimsical and sculptural ceramic pieces. Frequent firings of our high-fire stoneware kilns allow students to see ongoing results. Join us for a lesson, class or studio sessions and experience the joy of the creative process in clay. Mudslingers offers a variety of programs for adults and children. Adult and children’s classes, private lessons and workshops, birthday parties and corporate events, and open studio sessions.
