Colorado Foster Care and Adoption Film Festival

In partnership with the Denver Film Society, the Colorado Department of Human Services is throwing a film festival to shed light on adoption and foster care and all the realities that come with it. The festival features several documentaries including America’s Most Unwanted about the struggle of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals in the foster care system, and Tough Love, about two families fighting to get back custody of their children. There will also be the Colorado premiere of Black or White, starring Kevin Costner and Octavia Spencer. Apart from the movies, the festival will host guest speakers and panel discussions. Tickets are $12.
