Boulder’s newest bagel shop, Rosenberg’s Bagels & Delicatessen, arrived on The Hill in May after months of anticipation. We stopped by to check out the space and sample from the day menu of bagels, sandwiches and more (the night menu includes pizza and Italian subs). In short, it’s worth the wait — Rosenberg’s pays attention to detail, as evidenced in its classic reuben. Thick slabs of corned beef are piled onto a fresh pumpernickel bagel and topped with sauerkraut, Russian dressing and Swiss cheese. The fat on the edges of the corned beef is irresistible, the bagel is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, and the side half-sour whole pickle is a delicious, complimentary treat.
