Delicious rewards

In its October 2010 issue, Bon Appetit named Boulder the nation’s “Foodiest Town.” The criteria for this coveted award are that the town be small (under 250,000 people), have quality farmers’ markets, concerned farmers, dedicated food media, first-rate restaurants, talented food artisans and a community of food lovers. Eateries that garnered special mention in the article include Dish Gourmet, The Kitchen, Salt, Frasca Food and Wine, Pizzeria Basta, Mateo, the Dushanbe Teahouse, Leaf, Café Aion, Kim & Jake’s Cakes, Happy, Sushi Tora, Mountain Sun Pub & Brewery and the Boulder County Farmers’ Market. Congratulations, Boulder. We knew you had it in you.
