So long, Mile High Music Festival. At least for now.
The rumors had been swirling ever since the third year of the festival last summer, but event organizer AEG Live Rocky Mountain Region made it official today in a brief press release. The festival will not take place next year. The company citied economic conditions as the reason for halting the festival.
"It was not an easy devision to put the festival on hold," says Chuck Morris, president and CEO of AEG Live Rocky Mountain. "We are really proud of the event, and we're not ruling out the possibility of bringing it back in the future."
