2012 vote will have huge impact on environment, wild places

The 2012 election isn’t just about the economy or gay rights or the other issues that dominate the headlines, writes Vanessa Kritzer of the League of Conservation Voters.

It’s also about the environment, and particularly, preservation of the wild places where so many Boulderites find an escape from society and a sense of exploration and joy.

How you vote in November matters. And the league provides a scorecard to voters so they can see whether their current government officials have been protecting the environment.
