A HARE BEYOND PEARL

Black Cat Bistro owner Eric Skokan christened his second Boulder eatery this week with the opening of Bramble & Hare.

Located just off the Pearl Street Mall at 1970 13th St., the intimate industrial space has been transformed into a farmhouse kitchen and pub modeled in part with European style. The cuisine is inspired by local farms and ranches, including the chef’s own farm in Longmont.

Skokan and Sous Chef Josh Monopoli will serve pub, café and “a la minute” cuisine from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily, with a small bar offering libations to suit each crafted meal. Bramble & Hare can seat up to 35 diners at a time, with a private room available for large parties or special occasions.

GIVE IN TO YOUR WORLDLY DESIRES

A local Boulder restaurant has undergone a makeover to better serve the community, fashioning local ingredients into international flavors while continuing to offer a robust palette of internationally flavored beverage choices.

The World Café recently opened on the west end of Pearl Street after renovating the old Cuvée wine bar. The wine list remains, but the restaurant will now be offering a locally made tapas menu to go along with dinner. A coffee bar featuring Fair Trade organic coffee from Conscious Coffees will complement a continental breakfast menu and healthy lunch offerings.

The restaurant is located at 946 Pearl St. Call 303-447-0475 for reservations.
