Twisted Pine rolls out new brews

Boulder’s Twisted Pine Brewery celebrated Cinco de Mayo with some new releases.

One item that is kickin’ ass and takin’ names is Ghost Face Killah, which holds the title of the Hottest Beer in the Guinness Book of World Records. Dryhopped with ghost peppers grown in India — as well as Anaheim, Fresno, jalapeno, serrano and habanero peppers — Ghost Face Killah is a wheat beer like you’ve never tasted before.

For spice, chocolate and beer fans, there is Twisted Pine’s Holy Mole, a chocolate chili beer, which combines all your favorite things into one ale.

Don’t let Bloody Billy intimidate you — your favorite Sunday brunch beverage just became an all-day and all-week affair. A combination of tomato juice, hot sauce and Billy’s Chilies Beer, Bloody Billy will please your palate in all the right ways.

Boulder’s Twisted Pine Brewery is presenting Craft Beer Week from May 17-23, featuring beer specials and events. Monday, May 17, is the Independence Ale tapping, with $2 pints. Tuesday, May 18, is Trivia T-Shirt Giveaway Night, and Wednesday, May 19, is Keep the Pint Night. The Frozen T-Shirt Contest is Thursday, May 20. On Friday, May 21, the brewery will offer happy hour all night, with half-priced samplers from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 22. The brewery will wrap the Craft Beer Week up with Beer Olympics on Sunday, May 23.

Contact the bartender or call the brewery directly to register a team: 303-786-9270.
