NoBo Art District — The Place Art Project

Art doesn’t have to be restricted to walls in a museum. And that’s what the NoBo Place Art Project is all about. Starting Sept. 12, people will have the chance to watch works in progress as six Colorado artists take to the streets to beautify the area. The NoBo Art District commissioned artwork in an effort to amplify North Boulder as a stronger artistic destination. Through murals and public art, the community will be able to enjoy artwork while taking a leisurely stroll or on their daily commute. On Saturday, Sept. 19, enjoy a community party at ACE Self-Storage (4635 Broadway, Boulder) from 2-6 p.m. For more information go to noboartdistrict.org.
