Boulder, prepare to thrash. Since 1982, Dirty Rotten Imbeciles, or D.R.I., have been paving the way for punk and thrash bands with their hardcore selections. The group, known in the indie circuit for songs like “Syringes in the Sandbox” and “Acid Rain,” have persevered through lineup changes and guitarist Spike Cassidy’s battle with cancer to continue a heavy touring schedule that takes them across North America and Europe. Any D.M.I. show would be incomplete without some epic mosh pit and slam dance happenings, so batter down the hatches and don’t be surprised if you walk out of the show with a few new cuts and bruises.
