Pole dancing gets a bad rap, but think gymnasts on a vertical bar, and then you’ll understand. For the third consecutive year, the Boulder Theater will host the Colorado Pole Championship, where a collection of the region’s best pole dancers gather together to battle for a chance to qualify for the North American Pole Championship Series. Unlike settings where you might usually expect to find a pole dancer, this competition has a dress code and does not allow nudity. This all-ages event will feature pole artists, both male and female, performing their acrobatic feats of balance and strength from the pole.
