Twenty-five years ago a milestone was passed for the disabled community. The Americans with Disabilities Act changed the lives of a lot of people by granting civil rights to people with disabilities, and now the Center for People with Disabilities’ Empowered Adapters Peer Group wants to celebrate. On July 26, head to the Boulder Creek Library for a packed schedule with music from Young@Heart, featuring RockinJay. Also hear from prominent speakers and enjoy screenings of classic movies. Celebrate this landmark legislation and have some fun while you’re at it.
