Rocky Mountain Old-Time Music Festival

Thursday, July 9-12, Parrish Ranch, CO Road 4 and Parrish Ranch Road, Berthoud.

Feeling nostalgic for some old-school country tunes? Your answer is The Central Rockies Old-Time Music Association’s annual music festival. Held on Parrish Ranch in Berthoud, this weekendlong festival brings together talented bluegrass and country groups from across the country, such as Tennessee’s Roan Mountain Hilltoppers and St. Louis’ Dugout Canoe. Group dances to the fiddle-and-banjo heavy country tunes will also play a prominent part in the festivities, led by local dance callers Larry Edelman, Chris Kermiet and Patricia Danscen. The festival will feature workshops with musicians that will keep festivalgoers intrigued and engaged beyond the music on stage.
