BERTHOUD DAY

Sometimes it’s good to get out and check out what our neighbors in nearby counties are celebrating.

Head up to Berthoud on Saturday, June 6 to celebrate the annual Berthoud Day, where there will be food, drink, music and much more to honor our tiny neighbor.

The day starts with a pancake breakfast followed by a parade through town. There will be local vendors as well as local food stands and trucks. All the action will take place on Mountain Avenue in Berthoud. The festival lasts all day and is perfect for families.

BASTA REOPENING

You may have missed it, but BASTA in Boulder was closed this week in order to complete improvements to the interior of the restaurant as well as the menu.

But, the pizza and craft food eatery is open again starting June 4, and is welcoming guests to come in and see the new place.

“The open kitchen and newly added open air bar window allow guests to observe the artistry of the chefs manning the wood oven, and bartenders crafting cocktails,” reads a press release from BASTA. “A Chef’s Table tasting menu will be introduced to complement the experience, available by reservation for up to only four guests.”
