Katie Mahan knew she wanted to be a concert pianist since the age of 4. She had her first solo recital at the age of 6, and since then she has performed on stages across the globe. She studied in some of the best institutes in the world and graduated with the highest honors from the University of Colorado College of Music where she studied under Robert Spillman. Her music explores a variety of eras and composers, and Mahan brings exciting new takes on classics including Gershwin, Chopin and Beethoven. Along with her technical skill, Mahan’s personality shines through in every key she hits, putting on a powerfully moving performance.
