Threats, intimidation directed at Utah women’s outdoors group

A group in Utah intended to help elderly women experience the outdoors was subject to intimidation and threats from unknown individuals last week.

Great Old Broads for Wilderness was on one of its semi-annual nature walks when members found themselves locked into a campsite at the Nature Conservancy’s Dugout Ranch. The group’s banner had already been slashed and spray-painted.

At the locked gate, members found a Halloween mask of an elderly person covered in fake blood.
