For shoppers looking for a “mall experience,” Twenty Ninth Street Mall offers upscale shopping and dining in a contemporary outdoor environment, making the most of the city’s beautiful scenery and sunny climate.
The Pearl Street Mall has a more historic flavor, featuring a mix of restaurants and boutiques in Boulder’s historic downtown. Pearl Street is a popular place to go for a stroll amid the flowers. During the summer, Pearl Street hosts a range of festivals and celebrations like the ArtFair and the popular Noon Tunes and Bands on the Bricks. During the winter, people gather to watch the annual Parade of Lights. Shop, eat street meat and enjoy the ever-changing show.
University Hill caters to the bohemian crowd. With its delis, music venues, record shops, cafes, coffeehouses and hip boutiques, it is popular with college students and Boomers alike.
